Equal Housing Opportunity & Fair Housing Notice
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Austin High Rise Apartments and Spirit Real Estate Group are committed to equal housing opportunity for every renter we work with.
Our commitment
We do not discriminate against any person because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap (disability), familial status or national origin, as required by the federal Fair Housing Act and the Texas Fair Housing Act. We also follow the City of Austin's fair housing ordinance, which provides additional local protections.
How this shapes our work
- We match renters to buildings based on the preferences they share with us: budget, size, location, amenities and timing.
- We never steer renters toward or away from any building or district based on a protected characteristic.
- We describe districts and buildings by facts such as walkability, noise, parking and price, not by who lives there.
- Our forms do not ask about protected characteristics.
Assistance animals and reasonable accommodations
Persons with disabilities may request reasonable accommodations, including assistance animals, from housing providers. Assistance animals are not pets and are handled under fair housing rules rather than pet policies. We're happy to help you understand each building's process.
